Service Description
A fun nature based day camp for young adventures ages 7-10 years old! Camp runs daily Monday to Friday, 9:30am-4:00pm (6 ½ hours) Registration is for the full week! This outdoor summer day camp is about discovering the beauty and mysteries of the great outdoors! Using our Programming Shelter as a base, we will be going on daily hikes, enjoying eco-activities and having fun exploring in our wide-open spaces. Your child will also have the opportunity to meet and interact (no riding) with our Ojibwe Spirit Horses during a special Pony Meet & Greet! There will be two snacks and one lunch break. Food is to be provided by parents/grandparents/guardians. Our typical Day: 9:30 – Arrival & Sign In Waiting activity Welcome Intro to the day’s theme EcoActivity/Craft 12:00 – LUNCH Exploratory/Adventure Hike EcoActivity/Craft Sharing Circle Journal Time Enchanted Forest Play 4:00pm – Pick up There are seven weeks to choose from between July 6th and August 21st. Weekly variations in camps will provide fun new experiences for campers participating in multiple weeks! Register your child(ren) for one or more! Week 1: July 6-10, 2026. Week 2: July 13-17, 2026. Week 3: July 20-24, 2026. Week 4: July 27-31, 2026. Week 5: August 3-7, 2026. Week 6: August 10-14, 2026. Week 7: August 17-21, 2026 If a camp week doesn’t appear in the registration portal, it’s sold out. Please feel free to email Irene at irene@abbeygardens.ca to place your child on a waitlist. After registration, you will receive a registration package with additional details a few weeks before the camp starts. Since all the programming will be outside, staff will be checking weather daily for risks of extreme weather conditions; extreme heat/humidity, thunderstorms, excessive rain, etc. If staff decide to cancel the day’s program due to extreme weather, they will communicate this to parents/grandparents/guardians within 1-1 ½ hours prior to drop off time. Cancellation of a program will be emailed to the primary contact person of the participant ONLY if the program is not running that day. It is the responsibility of the primary contact to check their email prior to transporting their child/grandchild to the program. If any program days are canceled by staff due to inclement weather, you will be refunded for time missed less administration costs.

If you choose to cancel your child’s camp registration prior to the start of camp our cancellation policy is as follows: · 30+ days’ notice: 90% refund · 15 - 29 days’ notice: If we can successfully fill camp spot = 90% refund; If we’re unable to fill camp spot = 50% refund · 7 – 14 days’ notice: If we can successfully fill camp spot = 80% refund; If we’re unable to fill camp spot = 25% refund Please note: Refunds are not granted if a parent/grandparent/guardian withdraws their child(ren) from the program early, or if a participant is dismissed or disinvited from the program due to misconduct and inappropriate behaviour, deemed as such at the discretion of the Abbey Gardens’ staff.
