Service Description
Do you homeschool your children? Are you looking for a positive engaging outlet to complement the education you are providing them with at home? The Abbey Gardens' Spring Eco-Explorers session consists of 7 programs which are 5 hours long. We meet every Wednesday from May 6 through June 17 from 10:00am-3:00pm. We spend time discovering the wonders of nature by exploring the property and learning about ecology, gardening, food, and sustainability in a fun, natural, and creative environment! This program is for children ages 6-11.
Upcoming Sessions
Cancellation Policy
If any program days are canceled by staff due to inclement weather, you will be refunded for time missed less administration costs. If you choose to cancel your child’s camp registration prior to the start of camp our cancellation policy is as follows: · 30+ days’ notice: 90% refund · 15 - 29 days’ notice: If we can successfully fill camp spot = 90% refund; If we’re unable to fill camp spot = 50% refund · 7 – 14 days’ notice: If we can successfully fill camp spot = 80% refund; If we’re unable to fill camp spot = 25% refund Please note: Refunds are not granted if a parent/grandparent/guardian withdraws their child(ren) from the program early, or if a participant is dismissed or disinvited from the program due to misconduct and inappropriate behaviour, deemed as such at the discretion of the Abbey Gardens’ staff.
