About the event

Trees and Books: An Outdoor Walking Discussion Program

Trees and Books: An Outdoor Walking Discussion Program

Sponsored by My Haliburton Highlands, this free guided walk led by James McKenna explores the connections between trees, forests, and literature. As we move along an easy outdoor route, participants will pause at several stops to learn about tree biology, how different species contribute to ecosystems, and the ways trees have shaped the making of books and storytelling traditions. The walk is informal and discussion-based, with space for questions and shared reflections throughout.
